The Market to Table

The Market to Table experience was born from the dream of a group of friends who, in 2006, decided to share the region’s gastronomy, history and traditions.
The cataplana is more than just a simple utensil; it reflects the rich Arab influence in North Africa, with more than five centuries of occupation having left their mark on the territory. It is in this context that we find a cooking method similar to the cataplana: the famous Moroccan tajine.
During this experience, you’ll have the chance to discover the full potential of this gastronomic utensil emblematic of the Algarve, by visiting the local market and learning how to make a cataplana recipe.
