12 August
Beneath a darkened sun.
It began at 18h33, almost unnoticed, a small bite taken from the edge of the sun. By 19h30, ninety-three per cent of it had disappeared behind the moon, and the Algarve fell into a light none of us could quite name, not dusk, not shadow, cooler and stranger than both.
4 to 8 September, four restaurants
Sixty years of Vilalara, celebrated at the table.
The Vilalara Chronicle Dinners closed their season with four evenings, four guest chefs each cooking four hands with our own.
21 to 28 September, Wellness Club
The Atlantic has always been the treatment.
A week devoted to what Vilalara has quietly practised for six decades, the art of restoring balance by the sea. Exclusive treatments and rituals of wellbeing, drawn from the thalassotherapy heritage that has defined this place from the very beginning.
5 to 7 October, Racket Club
Former world No. 1 Martina Hingis spent three days at Vilalara, with nine private sessions of thirty minutes on our courts and a Meet & Greet.
She was world No. 1 at sixteen, won 25 Grand Slam titles across singles, doubles and mixed doubles, and joined the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2013.

23 May
Gaivotas
The season opened at Gaivotas with an intimate dinner that travelled through sixty years of Vilalara, one decade at a time, in the presence of Lara, the founder’s granddaughter.
17 June
Raízes
Two houses with soul and age, one table. The Vilalara Chronicle Dinners brought Vila Lisa to Raízes for one evening.
27 June
Praça das Rosas
The June festivities of the popular saints, celebrated at Vilalara in the most relaxed evening of the season.
11 July
Coral
Coral (MICHELIN Guide) welcomed Chef Sebastião Coutinho of Kabuki (one MICHELIN Star) for a four-hands dinner shared by just twenty guests. Two philosophies, one table, a single respect for the ingredient.
25 July
Praça das Rosas
As our sixtieth summer reaches its height, we dress the night in white. Champagne at golden hour, music carried on the sea air, and the warmth of a house that has spent six decades learning how to welcome.
12 August
Ninety-three per cent of the sun behind the moon, at 19h30.
